Atelier-Galerie A. Piroir - Summer Intern; Archival focus                                           Montreal, Canada / July 2024 – August 2024

  • Researched, negotiated, implemented, and trained team on new collection management software, improving organizational efficiency and a significant cost savings for a 5,000+ artwork inventory valued over $1.2M CAD

Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop - Summer Intern; Archival focus                    New York City, NY / June 2024 – July 2024

  • Researched grants and opportunities for historically and culturally significant art collections; Applied for over $100,000 in grants for upcoming exhibitions and archival projects

  • Developed comprehensive archive materials related to Robert Blackburn and RBPMW

  • Planned programming, coordinated travel and acquisition of art for Where We At, Black Women Artists. Now! Paper works, an exhibition of work created by pioneering Black female artists such as Dindga McCannon, Ann Tanksley and Faith Ringgold

Niki de Saint Phalle Tarot Garden Foundation - Summer Intern; Archival focus              Capalbio, Italy / June 2023 – August 2023

  • Developed physical and digital archive systems, organizing over 1TB of data including 9,000+ images

  • Inspected more that 20 large-scale sculptures and created condition reports; managed reports and related contracts for pieces being loaned to other institutions 

  • Conducted research; added archival press information, museum catalogs and interviews from outside sources 

  • Presented archives to visiting researchers and board members

BORCH Editions & Gallery (IFPDA) Curatorial Intern         Copenhagen, Denmark & Berlin, Germany / May 2022 – August 2022

  • Curated the front showroom with new and archival works on a weekly basis; Helped curate, install, and take down exhibitions; Assisted in curating works for the BORCH booth at Art Basel

  • Assisted clients during acquisition and created comprehensive portfolios with information about the work, the artist, publications, and institutional history

  • Conducted research in the Copenhagen print studio; used the experience and gained knowledge to inform my written texts about the gallery, its foundations, and artist collaborations 

  • Wrote and published press releases for gallery openings, the Charlottenburg Art Walk, and Art Basel 

  • Created stories and posts for social media resulting in increased online engagement

  • Featured speaker during International Fine Print Dealers Association’s print month

Peréz Art Museum Miami - Director’s Office Intern                                               Miami, FL / June 2021 – August 2021

  • Conducted data collection of archives as part of an art market study of African American and Women artists and trends in institutional behavior as published editorial work

  • Responsible for recording meeting minutes during acquisition meetings with the board, curatorial team, and directors

  • Transferred data from books, catalogs, and other archives to the TMS database system

  • Collaborated with the Curatorial Affairs team to improve procedures for data collection

  • Research resulted in identifying ways to diversify collections and improve the acquisition process

Amanda Williams Studio Art — Studio Assistant & Research Intern               Chicago, IL / August 2019– June 2020

  • Conducted research for the 2021 MoMA Exhibition, Reconstructions: Architecture and Blackness in America

  • Assisted in curating, designing layouts, setting up, and installation of exhibitions 

  • Scanned, retouched, and composed digital images for the gallery website 

  • Managed projects both within the studio and outside 

  • Communicated with Spanish-speaking buyers and gallery owners 

3rdRen Artist’s Collective — Co-Founder & Artist                     Chicago, IL / December 2019 – September 2021

  • Converted 15,000 sq ft of Anthony Overton, a closed Chicago Public School, into 12 individual studios and one communal space

  • Received grant funding from the Epstein Family Foundation, Hyde Park Art Center, and Elevated Chicago

  • Created COVID-safe spaces for young artists from the local community to make art

  • Hosted outdoor Community Arts & Activation days and studio expositions
